‘The ephemeral city squares’ – finale.
14th of June 2014 – The finale of the ephemeral actions run by students of Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planing from the Catholic University of Lublin took place on chosen city squares, this year using Jan Gehl’s ideas of ‘Cities for People’. The selected squares were: Rybny, Łokietka, Wolności, Kochanowskiego and Zielona Street. Więcej
15th of May 2014 – in the Black Hall in “Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre” Centre the students who plan ‘ephemeral actions’ which will take place on the 14th of July, consulted their ideas with experts. Using the opportunity, a copy of Jan Gehl’s new book Cities for People had been presented. Więcej
27th of April 2014 – The second meeting before student event ‘Ephemeral Actions’. The meeting was called by Dominika Wilczyńska and Basia Nawrocka who created the Palce Lizać collective in Kraków. They have organised workshops named ‘Game of nano’. The ‘nano’ scale involves interaction of space and human senses, which is a crucial part of human-oriented design. Więcej
14th of March 2014 the idea of Year of Jan Gehl was presented to the students of Landscape Design, Catholic University of Lublin with the support of students from the Spatial Management of University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, as a preperation for the annual event of ‘Ephemeral Actions in public space’.
